Orders

Can I order over the phone or by email?

No, all our orders are processed online through our website at www.peacocksupplies.com. However, if you wish to make an amendment to your order, providing you contact us as soon as possible via email at [email protected], we will be happy to make the changes before dispatch.

Can I alter my order?

Orders that have already shipped cannot be changed or cancelled, but we are typically able to make changes to orders that have not yet been shipped. If you contact us by 11am at [email protected] our support team will be happy to make changes to your order (please include your order number in all correspondence). Please note, once your order has been shipped out then you as the customer would be responsible for the shipping costs to return any items.

How do I cancel my order?

Please contact Peacock Supplies by email at to [email protected] and we can cancel or change the order for you as long as you let us know by 11am. After that time your order will be shipped out that day and you would be responsible for the shipping costs to return any items.

What if you’re out of stock?

Whilst we do endeavour to keep our online store stock information as accurate as possible, sometimes we do run low or even out of stock completely. We will update our website immediately in this case. To enquire on restock updates you can contact us at [email protected] or sign up to our newsletter for future product updates.

Can I get my order gift packaged?

We don’t offer a gift wrap service, but we do have beautiful gift boxes and gift bags that you can purchase separately to present your items.

The items have arrived defective or damaged. What can I do?

We take feedback from our customers very seriously and are always trying to improve on our service. If you have had any issues with quality or damage, please let us know so that we can provide you with a refund or replacement. We may request images for all issues to do with quality and damage. Customers should reach out to [email protected] with their order number.

Can my billing address be different to my delivery address?

Yes of course! Just give us both addresses at the checkout, in the relevant boxes.

Can I get an invoice for my order?

You will receive a receipt by email once we charge your payment card, this can be used as your invoice as it includes VAT.

You have sent me the wrong item in place of my order. What should I do?

Please contact us via email at [email protected] with your order number and image of the items received so that we can rectify this and send you out the correct product.

Can I pre-order?

Yes, on certain products we do have a pre-order option. To stay informed of these products and dates please sign up to our newsletter.

Discounts

Do you offer any discount codes?

Occasionally we may offer seasonal discounts and special offers. The best way to find out about discounts and offers is via our newsletter – sign up to our mailing list to be first to know about any of our offers.

How do I use a discount code?

Discount codes can be entered during the checkout process. Simply type or paste your code in the box labelled “Gift/card or Discount Code,” then click “Apply.” Only one discount code may be applied per order. Discount codes cannot be combined with others.

My 10% first time order discount isn’t working. What should I do?

Please provide us with the discount code you were sent so we can look into this for you. We will probably send you an alternative discount code for the same discount value.

I forgot to apply my discount code, can you refund the difference?

We don’t apply discount codes once an order has been placed. We recommend you keep a note of the discount to use on your next order (provided there is no expiry date to the discount code).

An additional discount code isn’t working.

Unfortunately, we only allow one discount code to be used per order. Please make a record of the discount code you haven’t been able to use, as you can use this on your next order.

Delivery

How fast do you dispatch?

Orders placed before 1pm Monday-Friday go out on the same day, using a tracked delivery service. Please allow 2-3 days for standard UK delivery, our express delivery service is 24 hrs (next working day) and we also offer a Saturday express delivery option. Orders placed on bank holidays and weekends are processed the following working/business day. During peak times this may be slightly longer.

What if I'm not in when you deliver?

There will be a card left so you can rearrange re-delivery. Please note, if you wait too many days to rearrange delivery the courier will send your parcel back to us and charge us additional fee of £10. We will deduct this fee from your order refund.

Do you provide a collection service?

Yes, collections can be done from our retail gift shop: Peacock Supplies, Ratton Street, Stoke on Trent, ST1 2HH. This option is available at checkout.

How long does International Delivery take?

Depending on the country, delivery may take 3-10 working days. All orders are packed securely and dispatched through a tracked courier service. All shipping estimated times and costs are provided at the checkout.

Can you deliver on the same day as placing an order?

If you wish to receive your order on the same day we are happy for you to arrange a same day courier to collect your order. Please ensure you contact us at [email protected] to arrange a time for collection.

The tracking on my order says it was delivered, however I never received it - what should I do?

Once the package has left our warehouse, it’s more effective to contact the courier directly. Have your tracking information handy so that they can help you track it down.

How much do you charge for delivery?

Our standard delivery is free within mainland UK for orders over £30. All upgrade express options are displayed at the checkout stage. International and outside mainland UK delivery charges are based on the country of delivery. You will be notified of the applicable delivery charge at the checkout stage. Please note, Peacock Supplies is not responsible for any importation tax that is levied at the delivery destination.

How can I track my order status?

You will receive tracking details in your shipping confirmation email so you can keep an eye on where your order is. Please make sure you enter correct email and mobile number to receive these updates.All UK orders are shipped with Royal Mail or DPD. Can you prioritise my delivery?

Unfortunately not. We do however offer Next Working Day delivery, which guarantees 24hr delivery providing the order has been placed before 1pm the previous day.

I gave you the wrong shipping address. What should I do?

Please let us know of changes ASAP at [email protected]. Once the package has left our warehouse, we may not be able to make any changes. If the carrier returns the package, we will be happy to issue a refund for the items, or re-ship to a new address, but you will be responsible for the re-ship charges and any carrier fees for returning the items to us.

Returns

Can I return part or all of my order?

We really want you to be happy with your purchase!  If the products you selected didn’t work out, we will accept returns for most items within 10 days of the original purchase date.

What conditions must be met to return an order?

Items must be returned in unused condition in their original packaging. Return shipping costs are the responsibility of the customer, and original shipping costs will not be refunded. Returns received past the allowable date will not be refunded.

How do I start a return?

All returns must be approved by our team before they are sent back. Please contact us via email at [email protected] – we recommend you use a tracked service when buying a label to ensure the item is received safely by us.

Who pays for the return?

Return shipping costs are the responsibility of the customer, and original shipping costs will not be refunded. If you received a special offer discount on your order, that amount will be deducted from your return. Returns received past the allowable date will not be refunded.

Which address do I send the returned order to?

You can arrange the returned order to be sent to: Peacock Supplies, Ratton Street, Stoke-On-Trent, Staffordshire, ST1 2HH.

How long does it take for me to receive my refund?

Please note that although we issue refund funds to your bank/card provider immediately, in some cases there may be a delay of up to 14 working days before your bank displays the credit in your account. If you haven’t received an agreed refund from us, please firstly check directly with your bank before contacting us.

I received my order and one of the items is incorrect/missing/damaged

We are very sorry if you have received a wrong or faulty item and will do all we can to rectify that situation with urgency! Please let us know your order number so we can check what you ordered and send an image what you received instead.  Missing, incorrect, or damaged items must be reported to us within 7 days of receipt of the package. Please keep the entire contents of the package, as we may need photos of the damaged parcel in order to file a claim.

Can I return a food product?

We do not accept any returns for food or other perishable products.

Balloons

Do the balloons arrive inflated?

All our balloons are sent out flat not inflated, they are suitable for air and helium use.

Can I take my balloons to a local shop to be filled with helium?

Yes, we advise you contact your local balloon/party shop firstly to check but most shops will fill balloons bought from elsewhere. With latex balloons please ensure you tell whoever fills them what size you need the balloon inflated to as we cannot be responsible for a shop under or over filling your balloons (under filled latex balloons will not float for long and overfilled balloons will burst).

Why won't my latex balloon float?

The main reason a balloon won’t float is if not enough helium has been added, check the correct size of your balloons and add helium until the balloon reaches its correct size. Another reason for it not floating is if you have added too much weight to your balloon, tassels and decorations will weigh down balloons so only add very light-weight items to smaller balloons.

Do you have other options rather than helium balloons?

Helium is very expensive and isn’t the only option for making a balloon display! Balloons look fabulous air filled, hung from the ceiling using clear fishing line, this is very effective using our varied range of foil balloons.

Confetti latex balloons - My balloons are not clear, Help?

Clear latex balloons are creamy colour before they are inflated. When inflated to the correct size they will be a little misty before becoming transparent.

Confetti latex balloons - How do I make the confetti stick to the sides of the balloon?

Filling a confetti balloon with air not helium will result in the confetti sticking to the insides of the balloon which looks fabulous, however with only pure helium inside the balloon the confetti may pool mostly in the bottom of the balloon, which is pretty but doesn’t give the effect that some people want. To make the confetti stick to the sides of the balloon it can help to create some static within the balloon by rubbing the balloon on hair or clothing. Another way to make the confetti cover the insides is to fill the balloon with a mix of air and helium, fill the balloon with a few puffs of air and then 90% helium.

Foil Balloons - do I fill with air or helium?

All our foil balloons that can be filled with helium and can also be filled with air, you may wish to fill with just air to use them as a prop or attach to balloon sticks or to stick onto the wall etc. To fill a balloon with air insert a straw into the valve and blow into it.

Foil Balloons - Look a bit deflated, what can I do?

Have you moved your foil balloons from a warm area to a cold place i.e outside or a garage? Helium contracts in cool air and makes balloons look deflated. Move them back into warm air and they will look full again. Try to inflate the balloons in the same environment that they will be used in.

Foil Balloons - Can I reuse my Foil Balloons?

It is possible to reuse most foil balloons but we cannot guarantee that it will work every time as they are fairly delicate but it is worth a try. Expel the air from your balloon by inserting the straw (included with all of our foil balloons) into the self sealing valve, the air will then start to come out and you can flatten and fold your balloon.

Are your balloons biodegradable?

All our latex balloons are 100% biodegradable! Plus most foil balloons can be deflated and reused to reduce waste.

Products

My Eid Moon Tree doesn’t stand sturdy?

The Eid Moon Trees are designed to stand secure and sturdy, please ensure you have followed the instructions and connected the parts correctly. Each part has a specified connector, therefore must be put together as shown in instructions. If you still have any concerns contact us at [email protected], we may request photographs of the product to try to rectify the issue or in order to support a return claim.

The lights on my Eid Moon Tree are not working?

For the 5ft Eid Moon Trees, please check the power connection or extension socket, as these trees are mains powered. For 3ft Eid Moon Trees, please ensure you have used the correct AA Batteries and that they are installed correctly.

The Eid Moon Tree doesn’t look as full as it does on the website?

As the Eid Moon Trees are securely packaged for efficiency in shipping the branches of the trees will need to be teased open for full effect.

Which batteries are required for the Moon and Star Fairy lights?

Typically most of our battery-powered products require the use of standard AA batteries.

Are your fairy lights for outdoor use?

Our battery powered fairy lights are suitable for indoor or outdoor use.

Do you supply wholesale?

Yes, we supply to retailers all over the UK and globally who stock our products on their online stores and physical shops.
